He is survived by: his wife, Marcella; his children, Adam Willis (Kate) and Amy Parden (Joshua).
His grandchildren include: Emmeline, Elia, Elaine and Elise.
Jim enjoyed antique cars (shopping for and working on such treasures), his grandchildren, fishing, photography and cooking for the whole family.
Born in Montgomery in 1947, James Franklin Willis was an only child that was fascinated with cars. As an adolescent, he began working for Boyett Wrecker. For 20 years, he helped the residents of Montgomery through Boyett. In addition to his dedication to cars, Jim was very passionate about his service to his church and his Lord. He served regularly as a sound technician at Heritage Baptist church. Jim was completely dedicated to his wife of 35 years, Marcella. Their love was an inspiration for everyone who knew them.
A visitation (2:00 pm) and a memorial service (3:00 pm) are set for Sunday, April 23 in the Sanctuary of Heritage Baptist Church.
