He is survived by his children, James Eugene (Carolyn) Young, Betty Joyce(Chuck) Brumit, Pamelo Jo Oliver, and Marcia Sue Moore; 17 Grandchildren; 44 Great-Grandchildren, and 16 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will include Paul Young, Austin Young, Michael Gippert, Marcus Gippert, John Young II, and James Lightsey; Honorary Pallbearers, Michael Lightsey, Tommy Young II, and Kenney Brumit.
A visitation for James Young will be held Friday September 2, from 5:00pm-7:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday at 10:00am in the Chapel at Leak Memory, with a burial to follow at Greenwood.
