Janice Marie (Kelly) Kim, age 82, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. A strong wife, Mother and grandmother will be greatly missed by family and friends, went home to be with Jesus with dad by her side. She was the rock of the family, extremely caring of others and wonderful person to be around. We find comfort in the Lord, that she loved so much. Until we meet again, Mom, we love you.
Janice is survived by her husband of 65 years, George Kim; children Kenny Kim, Kelly (Ken) Walker, and David Kim; grandchildren Candice (Randy) Horne; Corey (Taylor) Walker; Madelyn Kim, Ava Kim; great grandchildren, Landon, R.J., Callie, Liam, Evelyn, Laynie, Riley; brothers Walter (Sherrill) Kelly, Hunter Warren (Judy) Kelly as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Hunter and Myrtle Kelly. Janice was employed by the State of Alabama as a stenographer for the State Auditor and served as a military wife and homemaker in which she enjoyed and took great pride in.
She also enjoyed serving the Lord through her Church Mission Ette program teaching young girls about the Lord.
She received exceptional care from everyone at Hospice (Amedisys) of Montgomery.
