

Jean Lane Frazer, 78, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 10:00AM – 11:00AM at Evangel Church. Services will begin at 11:00AM with burial following in Greenwood Cemetery. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Isabell Lane; and sister, Evon Williams. She is survived by her husband, Tom Frazer; daughters, Sherri Clark (Tim), Deborah Wambsganss; sister, Edwyna Ivey; brother, Wayne Lane; and grandchildren, Sarah Brown (Oliver), Stephen Clark, Caleb Wambsganss and Hannah Wambsganss. Jean was a 1955 graduate of Sidney Lanier High School. She then attended St. Margaret’s Nursing School, where she was in one of the last graduating classes. Upon completion of nursing school, she attended UAB School of Anesthesia, and became a CRNA. After a 40 year career as a CRNA, Jane retired in 2013 from the Montgomery Eye Surgery Center. She was a member of Evangel Church for 39 years and spent 6 years in the mission field, serving in many countries in Central America. She loved traveling, especially to Israel, and to Russia and Scotland. She also enjoyed going to the beach, reading books and working on jigsaw puzzles. Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Clark, Stephen Clark, Caleb Wambsganss, Oliver Brown, Frank Lane and Andrew Butler. Donations can be made to Sav-A-Life in Pelham, AL or the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in memory of Jean Frazer.
