Jeanette Merrill Jones

Jeanette Merrill Jones, 82, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. She was a faithful member of Eastmont Baptist Church. Ms. Jones worked at Aldridge Borden & Company for 34 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Jones; Parents, Woodrow S. and Jewell Little Merrill; and brother, Woodrow S. Merrill, Jr.

Jeanette is survived by her sister-in-law, Ann H. Merrill; Nieces, Jennifer (Rob) Hof, Karen Sadler; step-children, Greg (Kathy) Jones, Gary (Corki) Jones, Grant (Debbie) Jones, and Greta Jones Willis.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Eastmont Baptist Church from 10:00am-11:00am. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00am with Reverend Mike Northcutt officiating. She will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery following the service.

Pallbearers for Ms. Jones to include: Rich Mackel, Robert Little, Robert Hof, James Blake, Billy Cox, and Dane Floyd. Honorary Pallbearers: Current and former employees of Aldridge Borden & Company, and the members of the Joe Andrews Sunday School Class at Eastmont Baptist.
