Ravenstein, Jenivee Beadles, age 84, a resident of Montgomery, AL, and former resident of Hayesville, NC, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 20, 2011, after a lengthy battle with cancer. A graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery is scheduled for Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be one hour prior at Leak-Memory Chapel. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Ravenstein. Mrs. Ravenstein leaves behind a devoted daughter, Charlene Finkelstein (Gene) of Montgomery; two sons, William Carroll Kitchens (Sara) and Terry Finis Kitchens (Mary Jane); two grandchildren, Michael Kitchens (Sonya) and Jeff Kitchens (Amy); and two great grand children, Victoria and Hannah, all of Hayesville, NC. Mrs. Ravenstein also leaves behind her beloved poodle, Bonita. Mrs. Ravenstein loved animals and gardening and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Montgomery Humane Society.
