Jennie Juliet Cain

Jennie Juliet Cain began her life on June 19, 1943 and joined her husband, Wayne, with the Lord on March 4, 2024. She was also preceded in death by her father Jim Jackson, her mother Jewel Jackson, her father in law Acie Cain, her mother in law Hassie Cain and her brother Tim Jackson, all of whom she dearly loved. She leaves behind her daughter, Jessica Cain Murphy, son in law Ben, and granddaughter Alex.

Jennie dedicated her career to Robert E. Lee High School (1961-1998) and then the Montgomery Board of Education, where she met many life long friends. She was an active member of Eastmont Baptist Church and served joyfully with her faith family. Jennie loved reading, watching old movies - especially musicals, and most of all, spending time with Alex.

She will be missed incredibly by her family & friends but we rejoice in seeing her soon in Heaven.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alabama Shakespeare Festival at asf.net/donate in honor of her love of theater and sharing those experiences with others.

A visitation for Jennie will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
