Jerry Joe Hudson, 75, died on August 10, 2014 after an extended illness. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Leak Memory Chapel. Jerry was born on April 13, 1939 in Hamilton County, IN and served in the U.S. Air Force. He then went to work for the State of Alabama at the ABC Board and retired after 25 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kandy James Hudson; son, Daniel J. (Teresa) Hudson; son, Donald W. (Ami) Hudson; mother, Mary Bryant Hudson of Arcadia, IN; sister, Peggy H. (Duane) Hiatt of Arcadia, IN; grandson, Seth Daniel Hudson; granddaughter, Sydney Abigail Hudson; grandson, Casey Daniel Hudson; brother-in-law, Dr. W. Tommy James; sister-in-law, Ginger James Bryant; four nephews in Indiana and one nephew in Birmingham. The family wishes to thank Dr. W.D. Smith and his staff and Dr. Stephen Davidson and the staff of the Montgomery Cancer Center for their care and kindness.
