Jerry Shelby Ward

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Ward, age 67, who passed away on May 23, 2026. Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Jeremiah Ward his mother, Margaret Ward and his sister, Lois Jones.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Rhonda Ward his children, Jessica Joy and Jeremy Ward and his beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth Holsonback, Chris Holsonback, Joseph Holsonback, and Brayden Ward. He is also survived by his sister Frances Carswell and many extended family members and friends.

Jerry loved life’s simple joys. He was a devoted fan of Auburn Tigers football, enjoyed spending time bowling, and above all cherished every moment he spent with his grandchildren. His love, laughter, and presence will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Though he may be gone from this earth, the memories he created and the love he shared will never fade. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
