Arrington, Jimmy Ray, 57, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018, from 1:00PM – 2:00PM at Leak Memory Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00PM at Leak Memory Chapel with Rev. Rick Evans and John Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Jimmy was a devoted husband, an amazing father, and the best “Big Poppy” to his grandchildren. He always made you laugh, and was a dedicated employee with the ABC Board for over 25 years. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Eual E. Arrington. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Sherri Arrington; mother, Fay Arrington; daughter, Rebekah (David) Garringer; son, Matthew (Sarah) Arrington; grandsons, Alexander “Xander” and Andrew; brother, Michael (Melissa) Arrington; brothers-in-law, John (Tammie) Henderson, Jimmy (Kim) Henderson; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Henderson; special niece, Grace McIntosh; nephews, Colton and Casey Henderson; and niece MacKenzie Henderson. Flowers are welcome, but memorials may be made to Dalraida Baptist Church.

I did not know Jim, but he was my son's supervisor at ABC. My son could not say enough good things about "Jim". He is so saddened by his passing.
