Jimmy Roland Hughes, 61, a resident of Wetumpka, AL , passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 from 2:00PM – 3:00PM at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 3:00PM. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Jimmy worked for the U.S. Postal Service for over 35 years. He was an avid Alabama fan and loved Classic Rock. He was preceded in death by his father, Buford Hughes. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda K. Hughes; mother, Sue Roland Hughes; daughters, Melanie (Daniel) Foshee, Shannon Hughes; sisters, Ellen (Fred) Wilson, Suzanne (Bart) Adams; grandchildren, Paul, Brian, Brittany, Jimmy, John, Jackson; great granddaughter, Heidi and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Branton Still, Kenton Still, Brian Hollon, Jason Elwell, and Adam Hill. Honorary pallbearer will be Paul Hollon.
