Dr. Jo McCoy, 92, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016. A private family memorial service will be held at Leak Memory Chapel. Dr. McCoy is survived by her daughter, Jenny Waters; son, Jeffrey McNealy; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She earned her Doctorate degree in Early Childhood Education at West Virginia University. She retired from teaching as a professor at Troy University and also served as Adjunct Professor at Alabama State University. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Dr. Jo McCoy.
