Dear Aunt Greeda, Tim and family, We were so sorry to hear of Uncle Dude's passing. We will remember, always, the fun times we had together at the annual family Halloween parties, birthday parties, singing around the piano, etc. We love you and pray that God will give you comfort. Love, Peggy, John and family

Dude and Greeda were our first neighbors when Gale and I married. Dude put the big B on his house so we could always tell people how to find our house, next to the house with the big B.
We solved lots of problems over our fences. Laughed and told stories on porches and livingrooms. Many a project complete in Gale and Dudes garages. Talked gardens, pruned trees, compared grass legnths and fertilizer. We remodled and built picnic tables. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching traffic on Ferstel Rd increase. Walked dogs together (Tippy and Bosche) and enjoyed many nights of homemade orange icecream on hot summer nights. Dude and Greeda were at the hospital when we welcomed our first child into the world. And of course they were there 3 yrs later when our second arrived. He shared his life, his love of his wife and his son Timmy and then the grandkiddos. Oh how he smiled when the boys were coming.
But what I will always remember is the loving devoted husband he was and the LOVE of the dear FATHER he never took for granted. Dude is now truly home.

My life is blessed for spending my first 10 married years next to Dude and Greeda. They were mentoring us and did not even know it.

Love you DUDE
