John Wesley Gable, Jr. of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama, to John Wesley Gable, Sr. and Ruth Gable. He is survived by his wife, Sandra, daughter, Rachel, and nephew, Bill Gunter.
John received his BS degree in Chemistry from Birmingham Southern College and a Master's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB). He worked for the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) in Montgomery for 36 years as a Chemist. John was an avid Bridge player and reader.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
