SCROGGINS, John Derwin, 59, a resident of Montgomery, AL died Wednesday, October 10, 2012. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM from Hanover Cemetery in Coosa County with Pastor Jeremy Shaw officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Leak-Memory Chapel. Survivors include his mother, Irene Scroggins; sister, Gail Squire (Rueben); brothers, Dwight Scroggins (Judy) & Thomas Wendell Scroggins (Casey) and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bill Taylor, Larry Dickey, Jim Shultz, P.J. Wethington, Brandon Bozeman, and Mike McCluskie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alabama Crime Victims Compensation Commission, P.O. Box 231267, Montgomery, AL 36123. The family would like to thank his friends and neighbors in the Highland Gardens Community for their kindness and support.
