

There was nothing in this world he loved more than his family. He treasured his two beautiful daughters, Mary Hasser (Timmy) and Natalie Sullivan; their mother, Linda Meharg; and his beloved grandsons, Copley, Sully, and Oliver Hasser. He is also survived by his two brothers, Tommy Sullivan and Hoke Sullivan, as well as multiple nephews and nieces. . He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Ted Sullivan, and his brother, Julian Sullivan.
Johnny spent more than fifty years in the restaurant and hospitality industry, a career that perfectly reflected who he was at his core. As the longtime owner of Sinclair’s, he poured his heart into creating a place where people felt at home. He loved people, loved entertaining, and had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. He was adored by so many, and his circle of friends and customers stretched throughout the entire community.
Johnny will be remembered for his generosity, warmth, and the extraordinary way he made people feel seen and valued. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the entire community that was fortunate to know him.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the incredible staff at Baptist East ICU for their exceptional care and compassion.
A visitation will be held at St. Bede Catholic Church in Montgomery at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m.
