John Glenn “Sonny” Till, Jr (81) was born on June 24, 1942, in Montgomery, Alabama and passed away peacefully on September 4, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents John Glenn Till, Sr. and Inez Hester Till. He is survived by his sister Glenda Till Clark (Don) and nieces Tamara Clark Martin (Danny), Tanya Clark Cooley (Don), and nephew Donald Clark (Heather), as well as a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives. A brief visitation will be held at the graveside in Greenwood Cemetery before the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canine Companions at canine.org or Courthouse Dogs Foundation at Courthousedogs.org, or to your favorite charity. The family would like to thank the staff at Brown Nursing Home in Alexander City for caring for John this past year.
