Johnnie T. Phillips, Jr., a lifetime resident of Montgomery, AL, transitioned to his heavenly home on Sunday, June 12, 2022. Johnnie was a member of Eastwood Presbyterian Church and retired from AT&T as a Digital Technician. He also served his country in the Air Force National Guard for four years. Johnnie enjoyed boating and skiing on Lake Jordan but more than anything he loved his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Tankersley Phillips Sr. Those who remain to cherish his memories are his loving wife of forty eight years, Diane C. Phillips; mom, Katie H. Phillips ; son, Johnnie Matthew Phillips; daughter Shannon Phillips Noble and son in law Jon M. Noble; brother, Stephen F. Phillips; sister Amanda P. Roy; grandchildren, Shelby, Jon Wesley, and Elizabeth Noble; also numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 2:00 pm at White Chapel with a family and friends visitation one hour prior to services. Graveside services will immediately follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
