Bruner, Johnny Melvin, age 75, of Montgomery passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012. Melvin was a native of Montgomery, served in the US Army, and was a retired Route salesman. After retirement he also worked with Finish Masters. He was preceded in death by his parents: Albert Bruner and Mary Eunice Bruner Rountree; Sister: Betty Jean Dorsey; Brothers, Billy Ray and Jimmy Bruner. He is survived by his wife: Merlene; Daughters: Rebecca Bruner (Charles) Bass and Sharon Bruner (Jerry) Plyler ; stepchildren: Debra (Tom) Kinman; Shari Huggins Holt; Bruce (Cindy) Huggins; Timothy (Kim) Huggins; Jeffery (Yvonne) Huggins; Grandchildren: Shawn, Brandon, and Nichole Plyler; Lindsey and Lauren Bass; 3 great grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, March 20 at White Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 am Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at White Chapel.
