Jon Grady Bice was born Friday, October 9, 2026 and passed away Monday, October 12, 2026. For these 3 days, Grady created a tremendous impact on his community through prayer, bringing hundreds closer to our God. The overwhelming presence of the Holy Spirit moving in his family’s lives resulted in continuous praise for our God, even through the darkest days. Grady’s family and community may not have the rambunctious little boy they were so ready to love, but there is peace knowing he is in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Grady was preceded in death by his great-great-grandparents, Thomas Best “JJ” and Annie Best “Nanny”; his great-grandparents, Eugene Bice “GrandDaddy”, Jeanette Christian “Gee Gee”, Nelson Christian “Papa”, and Diane Goodson “Nanny”.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, William Austin and Payton Christian Bice; his sister, Stevie Anne Bice; his great-grandparents, Martha Bice "Grandma" and Kerry Goodson "Opop"; his grandparents, Robby Bice “GrandDaddy”, Andi Bice “GiGi”, Jon Christian “Big Daddy”, and Nikki Christian “Nini”; his uncles and aunts, Evan and Abby Christian, Zane and Clara Christian, Savannah Christian and Joshua Boatwright, and Megan Bice; and his cousins, Chesleigh Christian, Bell Christian, Briar Christian, Laynie Boatwright, Ellis Christian, and JB Christian.
A friends and family visitation for Grady will be held Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3604 Pleasant Ridge Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109. Funeral service will follow beginning at 12:00 PM.
Per the family’s request, please make all donations to The Ronald McDonald House and University of Alabama Birmingham Regional Newborn Intensive Care Unit, (RNICU).
