
CLOUTIER, JOSEPH GARY, 76, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Visitation will be at White Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at noon. A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Susan Diamond, will follow at 1pm, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Cloutier was preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Irene M. McCormick Cloutier, as well as his loving wife of 54 years, whom he married on June 9, 1957, Phyllis K. Cloutier, who passed away just three weeks ago. The two loved to travel and had visited all 50 states and all the provinces of Canada. He is survived by his devoted companion “Thunder”; two brothers, Brian and Mark; two sisters, Carol and Denise; special nephew, Matthew Nichols; brother-in-law, Terry K. Nichols of Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and special “sister”, Jo Ann Fraley. Mr. Cloutier was retired from the Air Force, Civil Service, and Winn Dixie. He was an Elder Emeritus of Cloverdale Christian Church, current member of First Christian Church of Montgomery, and a member of Alcazar Shrine Temple. Pallbearers will be the Elders of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). The family would like to give a special thanks to Vista Care Hospice, as well as Answered Prayer Home Health Care, and especially Brittany Mahone, for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Montgomery Humane Society or First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Montgomery, AL in memory of Joseph G. Cloutier.
