

Joe was born in Montgomery on January 11, 1954, to Jean Douglas Fuller (Schuffert) and Joseph Fuller. On March 8 2012 he married his loving wife Dianne in Prattville, AL.
Joe graduated with an associate degree in Emergency Medical Technology from the Trenholm State Technical College in 1997. He retired as a Captain from the Prattville Fire Department with many years of service to the city he loved. A master craftsman, Joe was also the owner of Fuller Custom Stairs through which he passed on his trade to his son, Jody. He was an active member of the Sons of the American Legion.
Joe was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and riding motorcycles. He loved to eat barbeque and Mexican food. Joe absolutely hated pizza. He was also a problem-solver who loved to tinker, build, and fix things. He loved to work on projects with his son, Jody.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Jean Schuffert and Joseph Fuller; stepparents Bill Schuffert and Drucilla Schuffert; his brother, Virgil Fuller; and his second wife, Sue Nabors Fuller.
Joe is survived by his wife, Dianne Fuller; his children, Jody Fuller and Misty Fuller Trumble (Mark); stepchildren, Kandi, Jason (Tonya), Steven (Judy), his sister, Wanda Mehan (John), and his grandchildren, Graham, Samantha, Preston, Jackson, Kaleb, Jakub, Chyna and Jayda.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
