REED, Joseph Doyle, 72, of Montgomery passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2012. Joe was born in Belen, New Mexico on May 3, 1939. He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Jay Reed, brother: Ortho “Butch” Reed, and a son: Danny Ray Reed. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Vivian; Mother: Lena Reed of Belen, New Mexico; Sons: James Matthew Reed and wife Joanna of Archbord, Pa.; Joseph Jay Reed and wife Melanie of Hope Hull; Rickey Doyle Reed of Lowndesboro, Al.; daughter: Deborah Jo Everett of Tahlequah, Ok; Brother: Frank Reed of Hendersonville, NC; Sisters: Joann Morrison of Belen, NM; Joy Campbell and husband Johnny of Farmington, NM; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012 at Leak Memory Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Greenwood Cemetery.
