I had the pleasure of working for Bud when Jubilee first opened.   He may have been demanding to work for however he balanced that out with the kindness he showed us all!  He helped many employees and friends through the years that most people were not aware of.    When I was starting a family he encouraged me  to accept job with benefits that they were not able to provide.  My family always looked forward to seeing Bud when we made a Jubilee run and we will surely miss our friend Bud!  
Rest in Peace sweet friend!

I first met Bud as a freshman at AU, where we were pledge brothers at SAE.  We immediately became friends and later roomed together for a period of time.
We stayed in touch through the years mostly through my visits to Jubilee and Bud's - because as we all know, Bud was working. When I was deciding to move to Montgomery in 2003, I reached out to Bud for advice on where to live and to gain insight into the area. His recommendations were spot on.
My fondest memory was how Bud treated me and my wife for our wedding reception at Kat & Harry's in 2019. We put it all in his hands and it was nothing short of perfect. It was completely "worry free" for us and nothing but compliments from everyone who attended. 
We will all miss him greatly, and I feel blessed to have called him my friend.
