Karen Broadway Owens, of Montgomery, AL died Monday, September 12, 2011 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday from Leak-Memory Chapel with Pastor Lane Simmons and Connie Freeman officiating. Burial will follow at Alabama Heritage Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Owens; mother, Shirley Floyce Broadway; son, Brandon Squire (Lacy); 2 grandchildren, Jay and Will Squire; brother, Greg Broadway (Susan); nephews, George Broadway, Jr., Jamie Broadway (Samantha) and great nephews, Joshuah Charles Broadway & Joshuah Trevor Broadway. Arrangements under the direction of Leak Memory Chapel, Montgomery, AL.
