Ella Kate Arnette, age 92, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024. Mrs. Arnette was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, and friend. Kate was full of compassion, genuine kindness, and she was a shining light for the Lord. In her early years, she was a packer who spent many hours working in various factories and found joy in everything she did. She could brighten anyone’s day with her kind, heart-felt smile. She truly cherished her family and friends. "When she loved someone, she loved 'em hard. You knew she cared about you." A founder and last survivor, she was devoted to Vonora Ave. Church of Christ. Kate loved gardening, adored beautiful flowers, and cooking for her family and friends. One of her many gifts was sewing, and she did so most of her life. As her children grew up, she poured her time into caregiving for friends, family, and anyone in need. She would open her heart and her home to all. Her life was a testament of love, serving others, and unwavering faith. Kate had a servant's heart as she spent time at the bedside of those who needed her care. She lived a full life, inspiring everyone with her strength, grace, and wisdom. Although she is no longer physically with us, she will forever inspire and bless everyone that knew her. God blessed us for 92 years with one of his most precious angels.
