Katherine is survived by her children, Jeff Ryals (Regina) of Prattville, AL., Steve Ryals of Prattville, AL., Tim Ryals (Amanda) of Montgomery, AL., David Ryals (Susan) of Lowndesboro, AL; her 13 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Tabitha, Ashley, Chris, Courtney, Jessica, Stevie Kaye, Ramona, Timmy, Eric, Heidi, and Brad; two sisters, Peggy Wallace and Susie Butler and many beloved great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, three brothers (Meigs, Glen, and Rufus Kornegay), one sister (Shirley Hudson) and one daughter-in-law (Rhonda).
A memorial service will be held on June 12, 2026, at 11:00 am at Leak Memory. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Followed by burial at Pineland Memorial Park in Centerville, AL.
