She is survived by her nephew, Marion Edward Carroll (Nancy) and many devoted friends. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband Marshall E. Brown, her parents, and her sister, Alma Carroll.
She was known for her love of travel including cruises and bus tours. Kathryn enjoyed genealogical research and Auburn football. She worked for over 50 years in Civil Service at Maxwell and Gunter Air Force Bases in Montgomery, Alabama.
A visitation for Kathryn will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 12 – 1 p.m. at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home. Following the visitation there will be a graveside service at 1:30 at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery, 3001 Simmons Drive, Montgomery AL.
