Kenneth Andrew Burch, “Chubbs”, 57, a resident of Montgomery, Al., died Thursday, April 28, 2022. A Memorial services will be Thursday, May 5, 2022 at White Chapel Greenwood at 11:00 AM with Rev. Winston Brooks officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Burch moved to this area in 1977 from Hawaii. He loved Alabama football and was a fan of the Braves, Raiders and Montgomery Biscuits. He was an All Star athlete in youth sports, enjoyed reading, fishing, playing golf and was a member of the Lamda Chi Alpha Fraternity.
He is preceded in death by his father Roger Maness Burch. He is survived by his wife Hunter Smith Burch, mother Mary Craggs, brother David Burch and Denita, nephew Hudson Cole Smith and his beloved mean cranky old dog-dog Gertrude, whom he called “Gertie Gertie Gumdrops.”
The family will have a reception following the service at White Chapel Greenwood. Memorials may be made in his memory to the Montgomery Humane Shelter, 1150 John Overton Dr., Montgomery, Al., 36110.
