Kittie Virginia Anderson

Mrs. Anderson was an active member of Aldersgate U.M.C. previously known as Forest Ave M.C. She was a member of the Pathfinder's Sunday School Class, Senior Saints choir and Methodist Women's Council.

Her career was a loving homemaker, wife, mother and caregiver to numerous elderly family members. Her favorite title was grandma or Maw Maw by the grandchildren.

She leaves her two daughters Gail (Tony ) Dixon and Carol (Gary) Smith as well as daughter-in-law Gayle Anderson. Her grandchildren were Rev. Michael (Amanda) Cobb, Matthew (Kseniia) Cobb, Scott Anderson, Steven Anderson, Tyler Anderson and Zachary (Brittany) Smith. The great grandchildren are Alena (Ethan) Wisener, Kaitlyn Cobb, Rowland Cobb, Kinsley Cobb, Vasilisia Shamova, David Cobb, Olivia Cobb, Ryleigh Smith and Josie Smith. Great great grandchildren Stance and Eden Wisener.

Also to mourn her loss are sisters-in-law Doris Johnson and Julia Andrews; cousins Nita Crawford and LaNell Brassell as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A family and friends visitation will be held on Friday January 23, 10-11AM with a Celebration of Life Chapel service immediately following with a Graveside committal service in Greenwood Cemetery.
