Klenton McLemore

Klenton T. Mclemore II of New Site, AL, passed away on February 4th, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents Klenton T. McLemore Sr, and Grace Bear Johnson and his children William McLemore, Tranum McLemore, and Sterling McLemore. He is survived by his wife Victoria (Kamala) McLemore of 37 Years, his brother Lawrence (Larry) McLemore, and his children Legrand McLemore, Richard Smith, Pamela McLemore, Davis McLemore, Klenton T. McLemore III, Mitchell McLemore, Scott McLemore, Paul Goodall, 27 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Klenton worked in the retail grocery business 50 + years and has left a positive influence on countless employees and customers, especially by his optimistic outlook on life, can-do attitude, and hard-work ethic. He taught and inspired his children and others to work hard and take risks to accomplish their dreams. He instilled in others many beneficial life lessons. He seldom met a stranger and was glad to help others in need. Toward the end of his life he maintained his infectious sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his wife Kamala and their two golden doodles, Duke & Dutchess.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 8th (pm??) at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home & Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, AL, 36109. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on the home page of https://handtohandcommunitykenya.org.
