My daughters and I met sweet Lanaye when we were on a cruise to Cozumel in 2017. We became instant friends when we met. We were drawn to Lanaye’s sweet smile, love of life, and funny conversations. She was absolutely beautiful inside and out. We hung out together the entire cruise. We all became friends on Facebook and stayed in touch. We were devastated when we heard about the loss of our sweet friend. Prayers are going up for Lanaye’s family and friends. We can get through this tragedy knowing Lanaye is now in the arms of our Heavenly Father. I’m honored to have shared in a short time of Lanaye’s life. Much Love....Rita Norris

We first met Lanaye at our arena at a Christian Horseman Assn barrel race. That beautiful little girl would come flying in the pen with winning on her mind! Through the following years our paths would cross here and there but this last year we reconnected on a friendship level! She would do anything to help out which included vaccinating and tagging the calves! Such a beautiful girl. She will be in our hearts forever!

We met when Charlie and I did our radio show at the salon one Monday. She and Meagan were such a wonderful team and a joy to be around that day. Much love to all those who knew her. May God bless each of you with peace and strength

Lanaye was one of the sweetest cheerleaders I coached at my business, Monica’s Gymnastics & Cheer-Athletics. She was Always respectful and had such a sweet loving heart. Lanaye was once given the task of bringing me an upsetting letter. She cried as she hugged me So tightly and told me how much she loved me and how she would never forget all I had helped her accomplish. I will never forget the sweet kindness Lanaye showed me that day...

I almost have no words. I can't believe she is gone. Everyone has told stories of what I would say about Lanaye. She cut my hair and my two little boys hair. Our boys' first haircuts were with her. She was such an amazing person. I will greatly miss her. She also always did the best job cutting all of our hair. The picture is of our son's first haircut with her from 2016. Rest in Peace Lanaye!!!!

Lanaye has been my hairdresser for several years. I looked forward to spending my 20 minutes with her every 4 weeks. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. She was a genuinely lovely person. I loved hearing her talk about working with horses, her trips to the beach, her mom. I was able to have my hair cut by her last Tuesday. My only regret is because of the Covid-19, I was not able to get my good bye hug from Lanaye. But we left with our usual, I love you and see you soon! I will see you again one day Lanaye, in the presence of Jesus. Praying for the family and all that knew and loved her
