

Larry worked for Henley Memorial for many years making headstones and monuments before opening his own business, L&M Sandblasting. His craftsmanship can be seen in the engraved large river rocks at the Edmund Pettus bridge honoring civil rights martyrs, the Hank Williams monument at Oakwood Cemetery and many other monuments throughout the area.
He is survived by his daughters Lynn Crain (Jerry), Wanda Campbell, Dana Miller (Dean). Siblings Wayne Campbell, Carolyn Catalino, Sue Duffey, Bobby Campbell, Nan Alfrey, Sandra Shelton, Ricky Campbell. Grandchildren Kenneth Bowden (April), Celeste Bowden (Philip), Heather Langston (Kyle), Austin Crain, Katie Rennie (Alex), Amy Lynn Miller, Madison Miller, and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Myra Campbell, son David Campbell, his parents Oscar Leroy and Mary Evelyn Campbell, and brother Leroy Campbell.
Larry was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also involved in Dixie Youth baseball and softball league from 1969-1991 serving in many capacities.

Visitation will be held on March 14, 2024, at 1 pm at Leak Memory Chapel, followed by a chapel service at 2pm. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Larry will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
