Layne Steven Wallock

Layne Steven Wallock passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the age of 68. He is preceded in death by his son, Adam Wallock; parents, Larry and Beverly Wallock; and grandparents, Ben and Matilda Goltsman and Louis and Adalein Berman. He is survived by his wife, Cherry Wallock; son, Ben Wallock (Jane); grandchildren, Macon, Chapman, and Hunter Williamson; granddaughters, Ellie and CeCe Wallock; stepdaughter, Elaine Sullivan; grandsons, Hagan and Raif; stepson, Marlin Lewis; grandchildren, Katelyn and Konnner; sister, Debbie Wallock; and a host of Berman family members. Layne was a man of simplicity. He was an avid golfer all of his life. He attended University of Houston on a golf scholarship. His hobby was watching T.V. and DVD’s . He believed a man’s word was his bond. He wanted simple respect. He built his company B and A Distribution. Layne found contentment and satisfaction in his “own surroundings”. He wanted his legacy to be,” He loved and took care of his Family”. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Greenwood Cemetery on August 5, 2016 at 11:00AM.
