48 and a half years ago I married into the Metcalf family. During the years since then, Lera has always seemed to be a part of our family. A marvelous, darling lady with an enormous capacity to love and nurture those around her for whom she cares. Only recently did I come to realize that she was not kin to us, at least in a direct way. But until the Lord calls my wife Linda and myself home, she will always be a part of our family. To those of you who know her as Mom, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, cousin or whatever. We share in your loss and are praying for God's presence to be felt guiding each through this time of loss, reminding you that each of us can be a part of a marvelous reunion in Heaven with Lera and her Savior when our time here is done.
