Lewellyn Sievers

Mrs. Lewellyn Sievers, 83, who resided in Wetumpka, AL., went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Prattville Baptist Hospital. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband: Bob Sievers; parents: Virgil and Leila Dailey; step-son: Charles Sievers ;son-in law: Jim Huggins; and a brother-in-law: Jack Hand. She is survived by her children: Van (Sarah) Sievers, Steve (Lane) Sievers and step-children: Betty (Don) Hutchinson, Bobbie Higgins, Walton (Beth) Sievers, and Linda (Bob) Brink , two sisters: Mignon Hand and Nancy (Don) Ward, grandchildren: Chase Sievers, Christy Sievers, Russ Sievers, Donnie Hutchinson, Dawn Walton, Lee Anna Brothers, Sonya Slayton, Julie Tompkins, Katy Sievers, Sally Bane, Lydia Brink and Veronica Brink. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Greenwood Cemetery with a public visitation one hour prior in chapel of White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Bill McNeese will be officiating. The active pallbearers will be Don Hutchinson, Mike Hand, Chase Sievers, Russ Sievers, Donnie Hutchinson and Paul McNeese. Mrs. Lewellyn Sievers was a member of the Quailwalk Ladies Golf Association and the Trail of Legends Association. She was also a member of Harvest Family Church. She loved Frank Sinatra and Andy Williams music. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
