Lillian Louise Frye

A wife and mother, Lillian Louise Angel Frye, passed away February 18, 2017 at her residence in Montgomery, Alabama after a year long battle with lung cancer. Born December 15, 1933 in Wellston, Ohio, she was 83 years old.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert L. Frye, children Sheryl Shockley (Mark), Lesley Dorsey (Bill), Angela Keating (Mike). Grandchildren Matthew Shockley (Kim), Adam Shockley, Jake Shockley (Shelby),

William Dorsey, Ashton Sorrells (Patrick), Trent Dorsey (Carrie), Lindsey Forshey ( Danny), Drew Keene (Bridget), Nicholas Frye (Graham).

Great Grandchildren Ethan Shockley, Tanner Shockley, Caroline Shockley, Hailey Lamar, Ryan Forshey, Adalyn Keene, Skylar Frye, Lily Frye and newly born Mary Katherine Frye.

Not to be forgotten, Bama's Bear, a chocolate lab, her sweet brown boy of 14 years.

Lillian is predeceased by her parents Gaylord and Dora Angel and a step mother Zella Angel.

Her infant twin daughters Dora and Leffie Frye, a son Mark Frye and brother Carl Angel. Beloved pets Lightning, Sargent Schultz, Raza MaTazz and Alex.

Lillian was an avid golfer in her younger days and was involved in the Montgomery Ladies Golf Association. She loved animals, plants and spending time at Lake Martin.

The funeral home is Leak Memorial.

The family will receive friends at the church hall of Our Lady Queen of Mercy Catholic Church at 1:00 pm Friday, February, 24, 2017. A church service will follow at 2:00 pm. Graveside services follow

the church service at Greenwood Cemetery.

The officiant is Fr. Micheal Sreboth.

Pallbearers are her grandchildren Matthew, Adam, Jake, William, Ashton, Trent, Lindsey, Drew and Nicholas.

Honorary pallbearers Dr. Rheardon, Montgomery Cancer Center and Kindred Hospice.

We love you Mom, you're well now and blessed in the arms of the Lord.
