Linda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked as a Secretary at Highland Gardens Baptist Church for many years where she and her family also attended church. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, relaxing in the river house, and gardening in her free time.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ronald David Gandy, and her parents, Johnny and Gwendolyn Bowden of Montgomery, Alabama.
Linda is survived by her three children, Michelle Sharpton, Ronald Gandy Jr., and Karen Gandy (Fiancé, Griff Kirk). She also had three grandchildren, Hunter Ryan Gentry (Life Partner, Stephanie Hoffman), Lacey Gandy, and Layton Gandy.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Ana Tejero for her care of our mother.
A friends and family visitation for Linda will be held December 1, 2025, from at 1:00 PM at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, followed by a Celebration of Life Chapel Service at 2:00 PM.
