JONES, Linda (Ales) Jones, 84, a cherished longtime resident of Montgomery, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Theodora Howard; her devoted brother, John Adair, sister-in-law Pamela Adair; her nieces, Gabrielle and Emma Adair; and many other relatives who will miss her dearly.
Born in Lakewood, Florida, on July 10, 1941, Linda graduated from Alabama State College Laboratory High School before earning her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Alabama State College (now Alabama State University). She dedicated many years of service to the City of Montgomery before retiring.
In retirement, Linda found joy in traveling both near and far, and she delighted in scrapbooking, her favorite pastime. She will be remembered as a radiant soul who embraced life fully—a loving mother, sister, and aunt whose kindness touched all who knew her.
