

Linda Thomas Landreau, age 76, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. A devoted mother, grandmother, wife, and friend, she leaves behind a legacy of love and lasting memories.
Born on February 18, 1950, in Luverne, Alabama, Linda lived a life centered on family. She was known for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering care for those she loved. She had a natural gift for making others feel welcome and supported, whether through a kind word, a home-cooked meal, or her steady presence.
Her strength, kindness, and wisdom formed the heart of her family. She especially cherished time with her children and grandchildren, and the memories made together during holidays, gatherings, and everyday moments will be treasured always.
Linda was a proud and loving mother to her three children: Wallace E. Terry III, Jennie Maxine Bryan (Dale), and Anthony Preston Terry. Her children were her greatest joy, and she devoted her life to their care and happiness.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Bill Landreau, and her loving children. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Christina D. Dick (Robert), Amanda L. Pugh (Michael), Shane R. Bryan, Jackson Worthy & Triston Harrell. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, including Tyler Pugh (Brandy), Chrissy Dick, Nassin Dick, Gracie Pugh, Hunter Pugh, Caitlin Gentry, and Kinsley Bryan, as well as her great-great-grandchildren Elliott Wilson and Rhett Pugh. She is also survived by many other cherished family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at Leak Memorial in Montgomery, Alabama from 10:00–11:00 AM on August 21, 2026. Funeral services will follow the same day at 2:00 PM in Luverne, Alabama at Brunson Chapel, with a family-only graveside service to follow.
Her family mourns the loss of a remarkable woman while giving thanks for her 76 years of love, guidance, and memories. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave will remain with her family always.
A mother’s love never truly leaves us. It lives on in the lives she touched, the family she raised, and the memories held forever in our hearts.
