Linda Robinson McLendon

Linda Robinson McLendon, age 77, passed away on January 10, 2021. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Carl McLendon; her parents, Lester & Louise Robinson; and her siblings, Robbie Oliver and Jimmy Robinson. Survivors include her son, Wayne McLendon; daughter, Penny Owens (Mike); grandchildren, Morgan Hollingshead (Chris), Ashley Nelson, Todd Owens (Amy); great grandchild, Jackson Hollingshead; sisters, Peggy Pooley, Shirley Headley (Don); as well as several beloved nieces and nephews. Linda was a tiny package with a big personality. She had a zest for life that touched everyone she came in contact with. Linda loved spending time on Lake Martin, whether it be camping in the woods or at the family lake house later in life. She would never turn down the opportunity for a good time and is at the center of her family and friend’s most treasured and enjoyable memories. Visitation will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Leak Memory Chapel with a Graveside Service at 2:00pm at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers include Chris Hollingshead, Todd Owens, Jayme Robinson, Joey Riley, Tyler Jones, and Randall Brown.

There are so many amazing memories that I have with my Aunt Linda! She was an amazing person! She always made everyone feel special. When my parents were sick she put her life on hold for us! Love and will miss you so much!

My aunt Linda was so special to all of us we had the best time growing up around her she was always laughing cutting up and going to the lake house to spend some summer time fun on the lake as we got in our adult hood I can remember going to the new lake house it was so much fun the days went buy way to fast in the later year my mom and dad got sick and aunt Linda new it was a lot for us to take care of both so she stayed until their passing I can never say thank you enough for being the most loving aunt Rest In Peace sweet Linda now you uncle Carl daddy and momma can hang out again I love you ❤️❤️
