Linda Carol Watson

December 30, 1946 -- May 14, 2026

Linda Carol Watson, 79, a resident of Hope Hull, AL, peacefully stepped into God's Glory on May 14, 2026.

Linda went to Sydney Lanier High School and graduated in 1964, from Misses Howard School for Girls in Birmingham, AL. Linda attended Livingston University and studied Interior Design.

Linda is survived by her three children, Jason Scott Grant, Richard Todd Grant (Abigayle) and Elizabeth Nan Leatherwood (Eric); grandchildren, Kristofer Blue Russo, Richard Todd Grant, Jr. (Alyssa) and their daughters (Marsali and Juliette), Mary Caroline Grant, Will Grant, Thomas, Isabella, Sarah, Paul and Daniel Leatherwood.

Linda enjoyed managing her father's cattle farm, working at estate sales, attending Bible studies and learning God's word in Tanya McLemore's Sunday School class at First Baptist Church. She loved shopping and going to the beach, but her deepest love was delighting in her grandchildren. Linda was a wonderful hostess on holidays. She loved people and she loved her family. Linda was a Southern Belle who loved the Lord. For all of us who knew her, we are assured she is with the Lord Jesus, and she loves her new home in glory.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, May 18, 2026, at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Stakely Sanctuary. A Graveside Service will be held at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home, Montgomery, AL, on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 12:30 PM.
