Lois Coleman

COLEMAN, Essie “Lois”, 81, a Montgomery resident, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015. Preceded in death by her husband, Earl M. Coleman, Sr., and sisters, Ruby Nell Leaphart, Louise Koon, Leah Margie Leaphart, and Willie Mae Cousins, she is survived by her daughter, Lori Coleman, son, Earl M. “Marty” Coleman, Jr. (Linda), two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Her Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at 10 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, followed by her Funeral Service at 11 AM, with Rev. Derek Frost officiating. Her burial will follow that afternoon in Pleasant Valley Methodist Church Cemetery, near Greensboro, Alabama. Mrs. Coleman started work with the State of Alabama Revenue Dept., and later retired from the State of Alabama Personnel Dept. Memorials may be made to the Highland Avenue Baptist Church.
