Lois Stevens, age 82, a resident of Montgomery, AL passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Addison and Jessie Terry; husband of 50 years Sammy Stevens and a daughter, Terry Stevens Young. She is survived by her daughter, Tami Warner and granddaughter, Monica Lindsey Warner. She has numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She has been blessed with many special friends. She was a longtime member of Southside Baptist Church and Bell Rd Baptist Church. She was an active member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Amaranth. Lois was a wonderful wife and military wife. She loved her family very much. She was a very special person and will be greatly missed. Pallbearers will be all of her friends. The family extends a sincere appreciation to her doctor and medical staff.
