Louis Edward Jimenez

JIMENEZ, Louis (Lou) Edward 67, a resident of Pike Road, AL, passed away on January 23, 2025, after an illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Jimenez and Maria Jimenez. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Claire Jimenez; his sons, John Henry Jimenez and Louis Jimenez, Jr., his daughter, Crystal Banegas, and his stepdaughter, Brandi Hale. He was loved so much and known as “PoPo” by his 13 grandchildren. Lou was born in Victoria, TX on November 24, 1957. He graduated from Victoria High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Science in Business Management from Troy University. Lou retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1997 after serving his country for 20 years. He served as University Registrar in various universities until his retirement in 2021 and was a University of AL football fan. Lou was the most fun loving and generous husband, father and PoPo. His sweet smile and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Elmore County. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Victoria, TX with his family.
