Mamie Lucille McKenzie, 94, of Montgomery, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, September 23, 2012. She was an amazing mother, devoted wife, and true servant. Lucy was predeceased by husband, Jake McKenzie; parents, Lee Roy Switzer and Mary Ellen McCollum; and five brothers and sisters. She is survived by 3 children, Brenda (Ron) Smith, Rick (Louise) McKenzie, and Barbara (Ed) Bice; 6 grandchildren, Ron, Jr., Erin, Haley, Shaun, Jade and Josh; 10 great grandchildren; and siblings, Billy Switzer, Betty Moore and Geraldine Mattox. Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at noon, followed by the funeral service at 1pm in the chapel. Burial will be immediately after in Greenwood Cemetery.
