Lucy Jones “Sunshine” Bricken, wife of Reese H. Bricken, died at home on June 14, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Reese; four children, Sally (Steve) Breedlove, Eddie (Karen) Thompson, Irby (Anne) Thompson, and Bobby Thompson; 12 grandchildren and their spouses; and 24 great-grandchildren; and by her life time friend, Wilhemina Jackson. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward McGehee Thompson. Her parents were Irby and Byrnie Jones. She was born in Montgomery on April 2, 1928. The funeral will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 18 at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Greenwood Serenity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials gifts may be sent to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1728 South Hull Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104.
