Lucy Crawford Jackson Wallace, age 92, passed away at the home of her daughter in Kennesaw, Georgia, on July 16, 2020. Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Hugh Wallace, and her infant son, Johnny. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Crawford Motley Jackson and Addie Mae Phillips Jackson Randolph and two sisters, Annette Jackson Hall and Maye Jackson Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Wallace Linton, and her husband Jim, and a sister, Julia Jackson Dismukes. She had three grandchildren, Scott Linton, Laura Linton Adams and Brooke Linton Fondell. She also had seven great-grandchildren, Lucy Linton, Maddox Adams, Mason Adams, Ellery Adams, Emmi Fondell, Addie Fondell and Faith Fondell, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wallace was born in Selma on October 8, 1927 and lived in Coosada and Millbrook as well as Montgomery until 2018. She worked for 38 years at the Alabama Power Company and was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church. Pall bearers will be Scott Linton, Matt Adams, Jim Massey, John Massey, Bo Hall, Rob Shackelford, Wood Johnson, Wade Johnson and David Suddath, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Massey, Earl Johnson, Rick Pate, Bobby Shackelford, Nick Shackelford and Glenn Pruitt. She will be interred in a private family service at Greenwood Cemetery on July 19th with Reverend David A. Suddath, Sr. officiating. Donations in her memory can be made to Children's Harbor of Alabama.
