

Lula Mae Griffin was born on September 20, 1931, in Elmore County to the late Leila and Powell Jackson. She confessed Christ at an early age and later joined Goodship Baptist Church in Millbrook, AL, where she remained a faithful member for years. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Morris Griffin Sr.; loving daughter, Casandra Griffin; and loving grandson, Drees Griffin, Jr.
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother will be remembered by her five of six loving children: Morris Griffin, Jr., Branda Griffin, Rita Griffin, Drees Griffin (Maida), and Antonio Griffin (Annette); twelve living grandchildren, Angelica Griffin, Adrian Harris, Lionel Garnier III (Bridgette), Gretchen Glenn Davis, Matthew Garnier, Antonio Glenn, Chryseis Griffin Bates (Brandon), Nicole Danielle Griffin Miller (Lockwood), Antonio Griffin, Jr., Briana Griffin, Anthony Allen, and Rose Temple (James); seventeen great- grandchildren, Devan Favor, Paris Griffin, Stetson Griffin, Fenes Griffin Williams, Arial Miller, Lillian Miller, Skylar Miller, Zion Garnier, Trinity Garnier, Makinsy Garnier, Elijah Garnier, Braelyn Garnier, Michael McKinney, Isaiah Bates, Abigail Bates, Yaliyah Allen, Anthony Allen Jr., Lanaiya Allen; five great-great grandchildren, Sha’Tavia Griffin, JaSiyah Griffin, Kaden Griffin, Marquaries Williams, Jr., Mariunna Williams; siblings, Leon Jackson (Ganny), Matthew Jackson (deceased), and Johnnie Pearl Thomas (deceased); four loving cousins, Matthew Fenderson (Lillie), Jeff Fenderson (Fannie), Faye Jackson, and Priscilla Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM on March 7, 2026, at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL, 36109. The viewing will be held 2 hours prior to the memorial service from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM.
