Born on May 12, 1944, in Columbia, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Molly Ross of Sumter, South Carolina. She is survived by her husband, Pete Ginsburg of Montgomery, Alabama; her two children, Michele Wise (Craig) of Asheville, North Carolina, and Lee McDougall (Robert) of Carolina Shores, North Carolina; and her three grandchildren, Grace Feinstein, Hazen McDougall, and Collin McDougall.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the MD Anderson Cancer Center or the Montgomery Cancer Center.
A friends and family visitation for Lynne will be held Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109, followed by a chapel service at 2:00 PM. Services will conclude with a burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
